My local brewclub (the Bay Area Mashtronauts) is holding it's annual homebrew competition and blowout extravaganza this Sunday at 1pm at Boondoggles, a new brewpub on NASA Rd 1 halfway between Clear Lake City and Seabrook (in El Lago actually, I think). Anyway, it's right behind Pearl's Seafood and Oyster Bar...when coming down NASA 1 from I-45 take a left at the 4th light past the Hilton (counting the light at the Hilton itself).

$15 will get you a ticket for a pizza and a beer from Boondoggles, as well as sampling homebrews and other local brewpub beer from our tent, and participation in fun games we have planned. On the other hand, if you want to skip the Boondoggle pizza and beer, and just do our beer stuff and games, we won't say no to a $5 donation.

Come one come all. I'll have my chic Vanagon list hat on, or my Beek's beer hat, whichever I find first in my frenzy to leave the house...
