Currently I have a short rack with a lifetime warranty or a long rack with a one year warranty. Either is $249.95 plus $150 core deposit. (Different rebuilders.) Usually I have a long rack with lifetime warranty for the same $249, but the rebulder who offers the lifetime warranty is out of cores to rebuild at the moment so it may be a month or so before they're available again. (I think I have all his cores; I'm sending him five next week!) The difference between a long and a short rack is not tremendous; the long rack comes with tie rods, whereas on the short rack you re-use yours.
