Subject: oil pressure-quaker state filters

Hi all, I have read on numerous occasions that FRAM filters will cause low oil pressure on our Vanagons. It appears that Quaker State filters have the same problem, at least on my van. After a 1500 mile run to Vermont from Nebraska with no oil pressure problems (ever), I did an oil change and installed a Quaker State filter (the only one they had besides Fram). The first hard freeway run after the change I experienced the terrifying buzzer/light combo as I slowed down. Happened several times. Changed the filter, problem disappeared. Anyone else have experience with these filters, good or bad?

Sincerely, Pat 91gl-the prairie schooner ___________________________________________________
