The oxygen sensor light is supposed to remind you to replace your oxygen sensor every so often. However, the light itself is not connected to or related to the sensor in any way, and so cannot sense the condition of the sensor. It is possible and extremely likely that your sensor is just fine, even though the light is on.

Now, the light is triggered by a mileage counter box in line with the speedometer cable. The light comes on every xx,xxx miles. To reset it, crawl under the front of your van (hope it's not a Syncro, these directions are for 2WD) and find the speedometer cable coming out of the left front wheel. Follow it up to the spare tire carrier. Mounted on the frame next to the spare tire carrier you will see a small black box that the speedometer cable comes into on one end and goes out the other. This box is the mileage counter. On this box you will find a white button. Push this button with a screwdriver or other suitable long instrument until it clicks and then the light is off for the next xx,xxx miles
