Well as long as I am feeling opinionated tonight I will throw in my $.02. The list Admins should nip this in the butt right now. There are lots of folks who read off Unix or cannot convert this. Even some of the other non-ascii formats need converted, and I usually delete them without reading. IT is NOT that hard to configure your mailer to send in plain old ASCII.

If you are thinking "well they won't see my pretty colors and fonts". Guess what, we aren't right now either.

This is a waste of bandwith and time. Not only that but the sender risks the chance that the one person that knows the answer to their questions can't or won't convert their MIME stuff.

It is to everyones advantage to be uniform in mailing formats here.

Whew! Now that I got that off my chest, I will be happy to help anyone that wants it to fix their mailing program. I have e-mail, ICQ, Yahoo pager, and even a telephone to use in helping those that want it. :)

"I am not an ogre!, I swear it!!"
