They were NGKs put in by the PO. I took them out about 30K ago and they looked fine then (and the Golf just doesn't get the attention the Syncro does ;) )... I don't know how long they have actually been in the car, but it was more than 32K. The one that broken had very little of the electrode left - the other three had triangular electrodes...
