Me too. That is, I agree with Michael. I couldn't find a way to fit it in on its side in our 90 Westy even after cutting the existing mounting bracket off, so I drilled two holes in the top flap also. Works fine and (I rationalize) provides ready access should I need to jump another battery (like the one on the other side of the car...). The Optima comes with plastic covers for the unused posts that keep the electrons where they should be.
