Just turned down a 78, hardly no rust but bad motor installed and replacement motor sitting in the boot waiting for installation. The guy wanted 300 for everything. He took it to the local VW garage and got 150 for it. A note on buying old rusty vehicles: Unless you are handy with cutting tools and mig welders, stay away from them. My friend spent over2k on a paint and body job on his 74 westy. It held up for almost a year, looks like crap now. I think he's still paying the cc bill. -----Original Message----- From: Unkaducky@AOL.COM <Unkaducky@AOL.COM> To: Vanagon@VANAGON.COM <Vanagon@VANAGON.COM> Date: Saturday, July 25, 1998 7:34 PM Subject: 75 ail cooled bus
