That's a good idea. I've ordered the pressure release spring from the dealer. Mine looks ok, but no harm in a new one. What about the plunger? Should that be changed too? Also...Can I use ANY pressure gauge rated for liquids? I have several water gauges hanging around. The gauge moves up to zero when I turn on the ignition. Only after starting does it move to the end of the scale. The other mistake could be that I used the old brown wire coming from the old sensor to connect to one of the new sensor tips. Should I have run a new wire for that? Do the wires have to be connected to a certain terminal on the sensor? I didn't see any markings on them, but will look again this afternoon. Thanks |
