John Sounds normal to me.Don't forget your also carrying an extra 1500 LBs than the stright Vanagon.The reason you think you only have one fan speed,is because the low speed comes on when the a/c is turned on.Now my question to you.At 65mph my tac reads 3900 and 70mph 4050.Is the synco trans geared higher than the non synco?I would have expected it to be the other was around.
