Hey Volks My 85 Westie has a rear problem with a sagging rearend. It looks like the van is driving up a hill all the time. Finding the right camping spot can be a problem because it has to have just the right grade to compensate for the sag to keep the fridge level. The way I see it there are a few solutions: 1. buy new springs, best solution but to expensive for my budget at this time. 2. Install spacers under the springs to increase ride height (where do I buy the spacers?) 3. Install new shocks with helper springs to increse ride height 4. Install air bags in the springs 5. Have the springs reworked to original specs (Where? and How much?) I'm looking for suggestions o how to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for your time. Later, Stephen Davis 85 Westie Auto |
