Someone once told me there's a place near Buffalo - one of the suburbs, actually - called TheBug Farm. They supposedly specialize in VW parts of all kinds, A/C & W/C. I asked a list member who lives in Buffalo if they ever heardof this place and he said yes, but does not know where it is. I checked around and could not come up with a pone number.

There is, however, a good place here in the Rochester area. Called CDI, Inc., they mainly do repairs. I spoke to the owner this past saturday, about a '88 GL I want, and he is more than willing to use his parts network to help a DIY out. This guy started out repairing VW's and now does any German auto. And he loves Vanagon's, Busses, and Westies.

CDI Automotive, Inc. Victor, NY 716-924-3598

Hope this helps.

I am going to be passing throught he Buffalo Ny area in the next week and I am curious to the wear abouts of a parts source there that I have seen mentioned on the list? Does anyonw have experience with this source if it exists? Is there an address that someone may have. I am going to be driving my 84 Westy to Pittsburg Pa. from Vt. I am looking foward to the trip as it will be the first of that distance since I have gotten it road worthy. I would love to have the chance to browse an outlet of parts to see if there is anything that I would like or need? Any help would be great. Thanks Dave (84 Westy)
