Hello Syncronauts !

I'm looking for either a useable or core syncro/w/difflock trans (aren't we all) to rehabilitate our '87 Syncro GL/sunroof about to be transformed to Carat. The gear carrier housing and 3rd and 4th gears plus numerous other parts are shot in mine. any leads ?? anyone have some tranny parts to sell ?

Our 9 day trip to aquire Cory Zumbrennen's Carat interior was a great success. We came home with all sorts of extra parts, even a spare front dif. Talk about getting home in the nick of time. Drove 6500 km total to Boulder, Colorado and back from cool coastal B.C. and now that I'm home I pulled our transmission and took it in for a rebuild, due to a small amount of grinding, shifting into 3rd and 4th. What a shock ! first estimate is only $ 400 CDN short of a factory reman at $ 3800 plus taxes. shure wish I'd been shopping for a tranny while I was enroute.

please p-mail me at carlsfld@island.net if you have anything to offer. I live in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Thanks!

Wolfgang.
