hello, friends,
i've made it to denver with no incidents beyond the a/c thing. i found a
very friendly vw mechanic in memphis (who i'll add to the website once
i'm back) who helped me check out fuses and hoses and determined that
the compressor is shot. bummer. he wouldn't take a cent for the peace of
mind he gave me and for checking my fluids; simply enjoyed the chance to
see a syncro, cause apparently they don't get many of them there. but
i'm headed to wyoming today and then back into the rockies so i doubt
i'll need a/c for a while. oops, just got kicked off the computer here.
