Hello Volks,  the time has come for a serious appraisal of my 89 syncro westie.


The red brick is in intensive care at a local autobody spot and the CSAA (AAA)
insurer is thinking of offering ca$h instead of fixing the fine old conveyance.


The adjuster bless his ignorant soul is frankly unaware of the actual selling
price of such a fine vehicle.


His quote was certainly one to be considered a MUST BUY BARGAIN OF A LIFETIME
price.


So what is the net.vanagon.wisdom on assessing the brick's real value.
