I just wanted to let you know how the fog light switch is wired in european cars. The first position (left) is fog lights off, the second position (middle) the front fog lights are on, and the third position, (right) both front and rear fog lights are on. The european regulations say that it must be a warning lamp lit when the rear fog lights are lit, because the glare would disturb drivers behind you. The fog lights are connected to the 58 terminal on the light switch, and the relay's 85 terminal should be connected to the 56a terminal, so that the fog lights go off when you put on the high beam.( I do not know why this is the way it should be done, as you want the fog lights to light up the area close to the car when the high's are on.)
