Listees,

Well it is finally here. The 2.0 engine conversion I've been talking about is to be released!

European Car has the article and I'm to have the first 5 kits as of Aug 15th. I have a LONG list of people that want this engine installed into their vans and as I understand Eurospec wants to keep COMPLETE control over the installs of these engines for the first 6 months or so.

They have a HUGE amount of money tied up in this project and to protect their investment they're controlling the direction that each and every kit goes until they have a number of units on the road.

The reason behind this is that if there's any problem with one of these units it will be much easier to handle any/all warranty issues that "may" arise.

I've yet to see the article but I've personally driven one of the two Eurospec Vanagons. It is an awesome feeling to have a 2.0 gas in-line engine powering the Vanagon that the opposing engine.

Power is consistent from dead stop all the way to the top of the powerband. We've converted & driven a number of the Diesel Vanagons to1.8 hydraulic engines and GTI engines, but this configuration with the 2.0 the Stroke, and the new fuel injection system is buy FAR the best to be offered.

I hope this information is something you can use and if you have any questions or comments feel free to e-mail or phone me.
