Interesting...I don't see a power steering pump nor an AC compressor in the as-installed picture, unless they're on the other side of the engine (ie bottom). I'm betting they haven't done anything about AC since it has to be integrated into the electronics of the engine management system...unless the engine is just adjusted to have a high idle? And what about cruise control?

Also, I'm assuming that there's an airbox with an airfilter hidden into the right side vanagon rear air intake?

Changing the oilfilter without creating a mess should be challenging!

It's nice to know there's a semi-legitimate transplant available to preserve our $$ investment in our vehicles should the day come when an engine rebuild becomes necessary...but $5K? I don't need top end power for my camper...I need a higher, flatter torque powerband for the mountainous terrain here on the WestCoast. What's the torque cureve of the non-crossflow 2.0? Peak torque of 135 versus 117 (15% increase) doesn't seem all that much better UNLESS the curve is fatter and flatter...
