Actually, yes, Montana prices on most trucks and vans are $750-1500 higher on average than nearby states like Washington. Not sure why that is...I think it's because there are no nearby cities to easily go comparison shopping in. If I wanted to comparison shop truck from where I live (Missoula, Western Montana, no VW dealership here!), I'd have to drive three hours over two major passes to get to the next best city for me to shop in (Spokane).
