Hello- Does anyone know how to diagonsis the difference between an AC compressor that is dead and an AC compressor that needs new seals (as you might guess, I don't really know where all the "replacable" seals are located in the AC compressor). My compressor sat for a long time with being run (due to not getting to diagonsis the reason why it would not come on for about a year) and seems to be seeping a reddish oil (almost looks like ATF) from the clutch area very very slowly... Can anyone tell me if there is a replaceable seal somewhere between that clutch? dave |
