Volks, My 91 Westy w/4 speed is idling a little low with A/C pumping, cold engine and hot. Idle is around 780 to 800 w/A/C on cold engine and hot engine. This is causing my oil pressure alarm bell to go off with a hot engine. Reviewing Bently has me confused: Should I just tweak up the idle screw w/A/C on? I don't think there is any "throttle kick up" valve or mechanism on the wasserboxer for the A/C, I assume the throttle position switch performs this function. Idle w/o A/C is still rather low, say 850. Any ideas before I start tweaking with my Fuel Injection (Idle Screw)? ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> Shalom 87 GL Mark Magee 91 Westy Kemah TX USA 96 Suzuki 4WD Sport John 14:6 |
