Kyle >> Thanks for the info Kyle. Cool conversion kit coming up for all vanagon owners. For right now, I'm sold on the chip-rocker and K&N filter upgrade for my syncro. I couldn't care less if a head gasket were to leak, it costs me just the parts, free labor. ( I'm a VW shop foreman at Bellevue VW in WA.) If it does leak in the future, maybe I'll upgrade the heads with the bigger valves. I'm real curious what a chip, rocker, filter, heads with bigger valves and exhaust upgrade will do horsepower wise for the waterboxers. I'm guessing maybe, 130 to 135 HP.
