Marty, you wrote,

<< I'm interesting in buying one of those retractable awnings made by Dometic and/or E&E. The model I'm looking at is a Catalina, I believe...Anyone have any experience with these? How much would I expect to pay for a new or used awning? Would appreciate any suggestions. >>

Well, I gotta tell ya that my experience with the A&E Catalina 2500 is pretty limited, since we had ours delivered yesterday- slightly damaged, so it's slated for exchange. I ordered the 9' 10" length. Before I repacked the thing, my wife and I set it up to see how it worked. Camping World folks are pretty good to deal with, IMO...no questions asked and another is on its way.

One other thing-don't pay retail. Camping World usually has some sort of deal cooking- on-going sales, installation specials, $1 shipping, coupons tucked in the catlog, etc. There's also a membership deal for $20, which knocks 10% off the price of every item in the catalog...
