Greetings all.

I was wondering if anyone has replaced the gas tank straps on their syncro. Did it require dropping the tranny ? I am planning on having the coolant changed in the next couple of months and replacing a few hoses, pipes etc. Since they will be out of the way it seemed a good time to do the tank straps. Mine are looking kinda rusty. Space looks fairly tight, at least when you are lying on your back with your nose on the skid rails. Got my speedo back today. Had the 13 tooth metal gear of the odometer replaced. Paid 60.00 Cdn., which is about 300.00 less than a complete replacement, and I had it back in a day. I,m pleased. Syncro speedo's are hard to come by up here. Any advice on the tank straps is very appreciated. Thanks.
