I think the list vendors can probably add more to this, but in my experience the oem-type bras have the car's model name (eg Vanagon, GTI, ...) stitched into it somewhere, and new these go for about $100. There are other brands and these probably don't have the names stitched in, and they typically go for less (about $20 or so less). As to installation, my oem-type was pretty easy to put on...just some clips to bend around the sheetmetal by the front door.
