Hi There's a substitute list until whenever Kirby's list is up again. Before Kirby's list the sysadmin at the UR Physics dept, Tom Guptill used to run a VW diesel list. The listserver is LISTSERV@PAS-NT.PAS.ROCHESTER.EDU Tom has opened up this list to automatic subscriptions again. This is what he sent me: ----------------------------------------------------------------------- The list is now set to open subscription. To add yourself to the list, send a message to: listserv@pas-nt.pas.rochester.edu Containing the following line in the *BODY* of the message: SUBSCRIBE VWDIESEL FIRSTNAME LASTNAME I use L-Soft's LISTSERV, and it really does want to know your first and last name. To post a message to the list, send it to: vwdiesel@pas-nt.pas.rochester.edu ----------------------------------------------------------------------- You can find out about the other listserv commands by sending a message to listserv@pas-nt.pas.rochester.edu with the string HELP in the body. Feel free to pass this message on to your friends. I tried to post it to vw-diesel@velocity.bc.ca but was too late. So I'll mail a few of you separately and post it to the Vanagon list (for the vanagon diesel owners) /Martin -- Martin Jagersand email: jag@cs.yale.edu Computer Science Department jag@cs.rochester.edu Yale University Slow down and visit the VW diesel Westy page: WWW: http://www.cs.rochester.edu/u/jag/vw ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
