Hi Bjorn. I don't have any experience with the Yoko SD05, but I am using the Yoko LT Y370 195/14. It has a pretty deep and aggressive tread pattern. They also handle very well. Road noise is slightly higher than my previous Michelins, but I find the handling better. I purchased them at Kal Tire in Langford about a half hour down the road from you. Paid about a 100.00 per tire, and bought 5. Have to be well balanced, or the aggressive tread can create minor vibrations. Hope this helps. P.S. Sorry about the missing umlaut.
