...and so I am my bicycle mechanic and westy healer, too. At the WV Fat tire festival last weekend, there were only 3 VWs. My '80, a '68 weekender owned by one of the bands, and a very, very nice mid '70s Westy full of Canadians who loaded me up with import Molsons and Player blues (strong stuff, but very nice after 25 miles of West Virginia uphills) So before you complain about the lack of decent VW mechanics, try getting a good bike mechanic. Richmond only has one bicycle shop that can build wheels for goodness sake! |
