Sam et al: After a recent trip to France, yes, Chrysler minivans are out n' about. Not nearly as much as Renault, Citroen, VW, etc., but they're there. What they sell for, dunno, didn't see any dealers. In a nutshell, despite this list's cries for more, VW is essentially ignoring the hotly competitive minivan market, and focusing on their 'niche' van product--hence the high prices. To wit: my buddies n' I went on a bachelor party-river raft camp trip. Present in the 'circle' were 6 Vanagons & 1 Eurovan. T'was perfect. -- Don't sweat the petty things in life... Rather, pet the sweaty things. Chris Dyer Sony Development (310)937-0779 dyer@sdc.sre.sony.com |
