If your switch is the same as mine, one switch with the fan speed inside and temp control the outside ring (like a radio volume and tone control), then the shop I go to can order them for you. They cost about $60, kinda spendy, but they just plug in and you're ready for action. I looked high and low for a used one, never did find one, but I got a lot of blank stares. If you want phone numbers etc, let me know...

HELP! ! !No one seems to have one of these switches VW Pt. No, 175 272 327 -- none of the dealers or distributors have it. They say its discontinued-- thats scary -- I'll be happy if I can find a used one.. Anone patring out a 84/85 Westy-- Vanagon wont work - its below the cluster on the dash just to the left of the steering post. Not in the overhead (different) Thanx Bud Yandell

Anyone who can smile when things go wrong has found somebody to blame it on.
