Our vanagon's rear windshield now spontaneously turns
itself on, and won't turn off.  We assume it's a somewhat
overzealous attempt on its part to protect us from rain that
isn't there.  The wiping is also constant, rathet than its normal
intermittent.  Sometimes even if we turn off the engine, the
wiper starts wiping again as soon as we start it again.
Currently, we've solved the problem by pulling the fuse. (If
that didn't do the trick I'd REALLY be worried.)


Sounds like a bad relay to me, but I know next to nothing about
windshield wipers, so I thought I'd get opinion from the list before
I go buy a new relay.
