dave, easy to do. buy a citrus based paint stripper and w/ the wheels off of the car, prefferably w/ the tires off of the wheels, strip off as much of the clear coat and paint as possible. remember to remove all of the tire weights too. scotchbrite pads will aid in the stripping. once the wheels are bare, take a fine tooth flat file and take out any scuffs in the rim of the wheel. let dry and blow the wheels clean or use a tack cloth. lay on several light coats of aluminum or silver lacquer and finish w/ clear lacquer. let them set up in the sun and then remount and balance. two weeks later wax the wheels. i used wheel paint from griot's garage but any lacquer will do
