Subject: Fuel Injection Problems?(HELP)
Comments: To: vanagon@VANAGON.COM

I am writting for some help with my 1.9L Fuel Injected Engine. At the moment it is running OK but having several problems that are bothering me. It hesitates and cuts-out now and then. It seems to be on hotter days that this happens but I have only had it for a week so I have not spent a long time troubleshooting. Some things I have looked at are.... 1: I have a missing oxygen sensor that is emitting a bit of smoke but not much. It is still there but broken. 2: My fue Pump is loud and I replaced the standard filter in front of the pump with an Bosch after pump alluminum filte(still noisy). 3: My hoses where old and worn so I have replced most all hoses related to the air preasure system. 4: It seems to run hot and I find it to be warmer than my 73 Kombie after a 30min ride. It burned lots of oil in the last week(1.5 quarts). 5: I am trying to replace all the grounds but can't get the rusty screw out yet so ???.

My question is from these problems or possibly something else what would be making the engine cut out?

Thanks Gaelen
