I don't know about the Prestone but the Texaco has something called "Dex-Cool". On the jug they claim that it runs cooler. I gave it a try and it seems to work. My 83.5 runs about "2 needle widths" cooler than before. One thing though, it is incompatable with many other coolants although one can find other brands that state "Compatable with Dex-Cool".

Neat color too!
