I FINALLY was able to order (800-544-8021) a "1984 Camper Supplement to
the Volkswagen Vanagon Owner's Manual" (though they called it an "Owner's
Manual" not "Supplement").  Thanks to everyone who helped, especially
Joel Walker who provided part number clues.

Here's what I've got:

1982 Camper Supplement     W42-022-960-1
1983 Camper Supplement     W42-023-960-1
1984 Camper Supplement     W42-024-960-1
1985 Camper Supplement     W42-026-960.1  (yes, it's .1 instead of -1)

It looks like there is some sort of scheme change around 1985, so I'm not
sure what the pattern is after this.

The total price was about $16 (including shipping).


I also received some part numbers that did NOT work, though they were
correct.  I tried to order a 1984 camper supplement using the part number
VOM-CA-1984, but was told that this was no longer available.

I hope that this helps, and, again, thanks to everyone who provided their
2 cents!
