Hi Volks,

As a general rule, do the small diameter hoses that carry engine coolant last as long or longer than the large ones?

Are screw-type hose clamps sufficient, or should I install something more fancy like the originals?

My '87 Syncro achieved 100k miles last weekend, precisely on the Jenny M. Creek bridge on Chena Hot Springs Road. We took photos of the event and celebrated with Alaskan Amber beers and focaccia(?) at Two Rivers Lodge; I recommend it all.

Cheers, Chris Wyatt '87 Syncro GL Fairbanks, Alaska
