I confirmed the death of my idle/full throttle enrichment switch on our Digifant after Darrell's ECU tool found that, i.e. it wasn't he wiring between the switch and the ECU.

Now the question is: is there a trick to removing all that frabbitz? Looks like I need to take off the air cleaner, AFM, throttle body, possibly remove some other wires like the idle stabilizer, and then the switch is underneath. (Why the hell didn't they stay with the 2 accessible switch system like on the Digijet <grumble>.)

I know Bill Dummitt told me that many of the vans he diagnosed with the ECU tool had this problem. How do these things fail anyway? Is it a worn out contact plate, worn cam, or is it the switch itself?
