OOPS! Your right, I was going from memory and had remembered the vehicle weight not the GVWR. And I checked my tires and they are rated at 1466 lbs. max each.

The door sticker says that the GVWR (the max weight) is 5270 lbs. the manual says that includes 150 lbs per designated passenger and the added weight of the luggage that those passengers would incur. (now the humor) What is the national standard amount of luggage in lbs allowed vanagon passenger.

>is 1290 lbs per tire an ok weight rating for a regular 7 passenger vanagon. >The tires are reasonably priced and I don't ussually cart much around. >
