Subject: F.I. and Pertronix Ignition?

Has anyone tried using one of those Pertronix Ignition modules (magnetic) with electronic fuel injection? I just put one in a F.I. engine and it won't run, although it the engine ran okay before. If I disconnect the lead from the ECU to the coil, it then fires up, but runs awful. Reconnect it and no spark. The Pertronix unit worked fine in a carb engine.

H.
