Hi Folks, I have simple question I was not able to find an answer for in the archives.

I have seen 1990 - 91 Carats with simple clean fold out cup holders. Usually, there are one or two mounted at the base of the passenger side front seat (across form the e-brake), and usually two or three more in back.

I have a 1988 Vanagon GL, standard to the core. Can anyone share with me if I can attach or install these same cup holders on my 1988? Are there pre drilled screw holes for instance? Are they easily installed.

I enjoy a challenge, though I do not want to mess anything up if I do it myself. Any information you can share would be wonderful.

Finally, can anyone pass on where I might be able to buy these? I will check at my local VW dealer, though if there are alternatives, that would be fine too.

please email me direct. Thanks much,

Dave Bowers 1988 Vanagon GL
