the author is Robert Sikorsky. and he writes (wrote?) a column in a Tucson, AZ, newspaper (among others). he's written several books that are pretty good (like "How to Drive Your Car Forever") and usually makes sense. the only real complaint against him that i have is he recommends using these Slick 50 additives ... and i think they are snake oil and a waste of money.

but the books are definitely worth reading. :)
