Subject: Turbo-d air cleaner - what works
Comments: To: Vanagon@VANAGON.COM

Hey turbo-diesel people, In case you were wondering. The air cleaner cannister off an '88 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais with the 2.3 litre "Quad-4" motor will work nicely in front of the left tail-light. You might have to saw the mounting tabs off the cannister, and put some foam rubber around it to keep it from rattling around but othet than that it fits like a glove. The filter elements are about 5 bucks at your friendly parts store. Mark Thoma
