Maybe Coyote can sponsor another writing contest for all you poetic Westy owners. :-) I never meant to cause such a stir with my chuckbox question. Whatever pops your top. :-) We still end up using our van more to haul stuff than camp, so I can't justify carrying all that heavy stuff around. From the sounds of it, I'm sure glad I don't have a Dometic fridge either. :-) Back to chuckboxes. From some feedback I got, it seems they're a lot more useful than just carrying stoves 'n stuff. Some people reported having 2 to carry around various loose articles (including Westy owners, BTW). Weight appears to be a big factor, which would explain why the BeaverTree Kitchen is made of plastic. I'm still wary of the hot stove issue with that though. Several people have suggested making your own chuckbox including suggesting plans from Popular Mechanics. I'm Mr. instant total gratification, so I think I'll just buy one. :-) Regards, -Karl
