Greetings. Well my experiment with the vacum gauge connected before the check valve was a failure. The gauge readings were not matching the descriptions as per the manual, nor did they match the readings from a previous post I read. Tonight I changed the tee connection to the vacum line at the pressure regulator and voila ! The needle moves nicely with the engine rpm's and reflect the instruction booklets description of the readings. Didn't have time to do a test drive tonight, but going to the mainland tomorrow. Got to get some sleep, have to be up at 4:30 AM to catch the first sailing. Good night. R.Feuerriegel 88 syncro in Victoria |
