I'm looking into buying a westy and have started wonder about the water tank. The current owner of the van warned me that the tanking didn't hold potable water. That made me think--why isn't it potable--what kind of contaminats are in that tank--is there anything that can be done to the tank to make the water in it safe to drink? I thought about filling it with water purifiication tablets and then flushing it out. Anyone out there ever pursued anyting like this? mac _________________________________________________________ DO YOU YAHOO!? Get your free @yahoo.com address at http://mail.yahoo.com |
