Hey, Maureen, were you peeking in my Camper? I live near Boston and I have successfully made ice cubes in my Dometic fridge, not once but twice!! Seriously, though, the Dometic fridge in my '91 has worked just fine since the day I bought the Camper new. It gets coldest running on propane, does ok on 120VAC (I usually do that just to pre-chill the fridge before a trip), and after several hours is reasonably cold even on 12VDC. If I remember right, my experience is that it can get about 35 to 40 degrees colder than the outside temp when on propane, but don't quote me on that. - Scott '91 Westfalia Camper (for sale, and I am being honest about the above!) |
