I saw an simple, effective solution to unauthorized access to the oil/collant filler at the Litchfield Bug in: A small six inch wide "L" bracket made of 1/8" steel mounted to the rear cargo lock bolts -- completely prevents the oil/coolant access door from being opened unless the cargo door is ajar. The owner of this device put a JC Whitney reflector on the exposed metal surface so it looks "factory". Very simple and clever.
Kinda looks sumthin like this:
cargo door | | | | Lock || | || | |______| ----- || "L" bracket reflector || || | | | | | | oil/coolant access door | | | |
