I have just been in contact with a woman in Eureka, CA, whose late husband collected VWs. She says she has about 30 total, including about 5 PUs, which, from her description, sound like Vanagon PUs and one split windshield. She has lots of fastbacks and squarebacks, at least one camper, and I think a '91 Vanagon syncro PU (which she drives and plans to keep).

She isn't really clear on what she has, so I am looking for somebody trustworthy and close by to take a look. She has been thinking about paying somebody to haul most of them to a crusher. If you are in that area, let me know.

Thanks,
