------------------------- Hi Volks, The correct fuel lines for transporters from 75 on is now high pressure fuel lines not the cloth covered lines. They were recalled by vw and not used since about 77 for fi applications. Jim Thompson enlightened the type 2 list about fuel lines a couple of years ago. Where are you Jim? Anyway I had just replaced all my hoses on a bay with the cloth covered hoses and had to replace them again with the proper fi hoses. All the vendors will have the 7mm fi hose, most applications need about 3 meters. Another reason the fi engines don't vapor lock is the fuel is constantly being circulated to and from the tank and it never stays in place near the engine long enough to get hot and vaporize, this is a good thing we can be thankful for. I have had several mopar B blocks that vapor locked often and were very hard to start hot. Darrell |
