This is correct, all Vanagons use the same windshield. But I do not concur with the advice not to replace the gasket. Body rubber is one thing that tends to age on a Volkswagen, and an aging windshield gasket can cause rain to leak into the dash with disasterous results. While the window is out, this is a good time to preventatively replace the seal. I have new German seals for only $49.95 so the cost is not high.
